Show Wizard, class eligibility rules, and a Build Story for your car

Setting up a show is now guided. The new Show Wizard walks you through the choices one step at a time instead of dropping you into a long form. If you pick Expert features along the way, they are held until payment, so you can see what a show would include before you commit. You can try the whole flow first in the demo at /demo, and start your own show at /sign-up.

Classes can now say which cars belong in them. Each class can have make, model and year eligibility rules, with an optional Enforce setting. You can add a whole group of makes in one click: American, Japanese, German, British, Italian, Other European, Korean, or All imports. There are more ready-made class libraries to start from too: Mustang, six general ones, and an International one, each with a short description so you can tell them apart. On the Registrations page, a car that doesn't fit its class gets a badge, and the header shows a count of how many there are, so you can sort them out before show day.

Entry limits are now enforced where it matters, on the public registration form. You can cap a class and cap an entry type, and the form stops accepting entries once the limit is reached. If the whole show is full, the public page says that people are joining the waitlist and shows a waitlist confirmation, instead of leaving them wondering whether their sign-up worked.

Cars now have a free-text trim or variant field: SS 396, Z/28, Boss 302, and so on. It shows after the model everywhere the car appears: judging, awards, results, voting, emails, and CSV export and import. The Model field is also a dropdown for makes we have models for. The list is year-aware, and if you pick a year that doesn't match the model you get a soft note rather than being blocked. Entrants can also edit their description after registering, from My Entries, and organizers can do the same from Edit Registration.

A few smaller organizer fixes. Judge Results has a group-by-class toggle that shows places within each class. Creating a show that starts today or in the past now warns you, and double-clicking the create button no longer makes a duplicate show. The QR label on the dash card reads "Scan for details" or "Scan for details and vote", depending on whether voting is on. The box on the Registrations page that lists registrants whose email address isn't getting our emails now shows each address once, however many times they registered. And pending co-organizer invitations now have a Copy link button.

For car owners, the Garage got a lot more room. Each car can have up to 5 extra photos and a Build Story write-up, and both carry onto your show entries and your public car page. The /garages page now searches by make, model, year and trim, and features a model of the week. Public garages can also have an optional Contact owner or Ask about this car form. It is off by default, the owner chooses whether to turn it on, and your email address is never shown.

Two behind-the-scenes changes. The in-app help assistant now looks up the relevant part of the manual for each question, so its answers follow the manual. And every email we send now ends with Follow Car Show Expert links for Facebook, YouTube and Reddit.
