The organizer isn't the pager anymore

This week is about getting things off the organizer's plate.

People's Choice setup — voting mode, categories, which classes feed which category — has moved off the Edit Show page into its own tab under Judging, next to the results it produces. And once real votes exist for a show, that setup locks: nobody can quietly change a category or reassign a class mid-vote and scramble which ballots count toward what.

Head judges can now open and close individual judging classes, bulk open or close everything, flip the whole-show judging switch, and set the auto-close cutoff time — all of it used to route through the organizer, even on show day. They still can't touch scoring criteria or publish results; that line stays put.

And if you've ever wanted to dry-run your show — test voting, throw some sample cars through judging — there's now a "Clear judging data" button on the Edit Show page that wipes all scores, votes, and awards for a show in one confirmed action, so you can rehearse and then start clean without deleting and rebuilding the whole show.

Smaller but worth knowing about: judging results can now be filtered to a model-year range and compared across every class at once (as a percentage of each class's own scoring max, since classes don't all use the same criteria) — built for organizers hunting candidates for era-based awards like "Best of the 60s." It hands you a shortlist to review, not an automatic winner.
